Summer Time and the AAC Learning is EASY

First presented on July 28th, 2020. Part of the ISAAC-Canada Webinar Series.

Presenter:  Kathy Howery, PhD

Moderator: Tracy Shepherd, M.A., CCC- SLP

Seminar Description: Summer is here and we are still social distancing, which means no face-to-face AAC professional learning, at least for the foreseeable future. But fear not fellow AACers, we have a long list of wonderful webinars that were sponsored by the Alberta Provincial Low Incidence Team that we want to alert you to and tell you a little about.

Your host for the webinar, Dr. Kathy Howery, will briefly walk you through each session and highlight WHY you should consider spending your time watching each one. They range from the inspiring and a little theoretical presentations of Dr. Stephen von Tetzchner from Norway, to the practical tips and tricks of Dr. Gretchen Hanser, to the very rare archived webinars of Linda Burkhart.

Webinar Objectives: You will learn — 1. About the variety of webinars archived by the Alberta Regional Professional Learning Consortia; 2. What topics are available and how they can be found again for future reference;  3. About the continuing ISAAC-Canada Webinar Series, including upcoming speakers and topics!

Disclosures: Financial — None Non-Financial — Kathy Howery was instrumental in organizing these webinars through her role with the Alberta Provincial Low Incidence Team. She is also the host/moderator for each webinar.
