The purpose of this session is to provide insight on how a parent’s speech disability impacts – or does not impact – communicating with a child. The presenters will share personal experiences from both the parental and child side of interacting with each other. The discussion will also include how having a child can change a parent’s communication methods in settings outside of the home.
