Video Mentoring Process during Intensive Interaction

Intensive Interaction is developed to meet the learning needs of people who are still at early stages of communication, cognitive and social development. In our presentation we shall first describe shortly Intensive Interaction and it´s principles and benefits for the person with complex communication needs and their communication partners. When partners adopt Intensive Interaction as an approach they adopt a particular interactive style. Practitioners can develop their interactive style either by reflecting their own interaction or with a mentor. Last we shall discuss how video is used during mentoring process in an empowering way.
