This session will review the free professional development resources and instructional materials created as part of the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLMâ„¢) Alternate Assessment Consortium. These resources were created to support educators of students with significant cognitive disabilities, including students with complex communication needs, in achieving college and career readiness standards focused on English language arts and mathematics. The online resources include 51 self-directed and facilitated professional development modules as well as a virtual community of practice with a variety of language, literacy, and communication supports.
