READ AAC

About the project:  The READ-AAC (Research, Education, Awareness, Documentation) project focuses on the following objectives:

1. Information on AAC and ISAAC will be accessible to all members and available in a variety of media formats and languages (spoken and symbolic) within the ISAAC membership as well as the larger global community.

2. Information on various aspects of AAC will be exchanged within the ISAAC membership as well as the larger global community

3. READ will have a clear expressed transparent mission statement and governance structure shared, and agreed upon by members.

4. The functioning of READ will reflect the international identity of its membership.

5. READ will continue to promote research and development in all areas of AAC.

6. Research findings will be disseminated within ISAAC and within the disability community world-wide

Every one of these objectives has its own strategy divided into phases, actions to be taken and performance indicators.  A team is responsible for each objective.
