    Hamilton Wentworth Communication Collective

    The Hamilton Wentworth Communication Collective is a volunteer organization formed in 1977 to help support individuals who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems. Members are from all sectors of the community including AAC consumers and their families, teachers, therapists and support workers. HWCC is affiliated with Blissymbolics Communication International (BCI), the International Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (ISAAC) and ISAAC Canada.

     

    Internet Resources for Special Children

    This site, Internet Resources for Special Children is dedicated to providing information on the needs of children with disabilities around the world.

     

    Listen Up

    The Listen Up website provides information and product development geared to the special needs of hearing impaired children and their families. Listen Up is a very large site. It has been divided into sections and for the creation of a web page to help guide you through the topics. 

    TASH

    TASH is an international membership association that is leading the way to inclusive communities. The association has numerous chapters and thousands of members from thirty-four different countries and territories.  TASH actively promotes the full inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities in all aspects of life.

     

    The International Centre for Disability Resources

    The International Centre for Disability Resources on the Internet (ICDRC) is an internationally recognized public policy center organized by and for people with disabilities, ICDRI seeks to increase opportunities for people with disabilities by identifying barriers to participation in society and promoting best practices and universal design for the global community.

     

    The International Alliance

    The International Alliance is the peak body for global organisations who support people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

     

    Through the Looking Glass

    Through the Looking Glass is a nationally recognized centre that has an interest in research, training and services for families in which members have a disability or medical issue. The site can be read in English or Spanish.
