Marica Gatt B.Ed(Hon), MSc. (PMLD & MSI) is a specialist teacher and a parent of Samuel who is an AAC user. Her MSc research project entitled 'Communication through technology: Enabling participation for Maltese students with learning disabilities' focussed on the barriers towards active participation of Maltese AAC users. She currently manages Access to Communication and Technology Unit (ACTU) within the Inclusive and Special Education Network in Malta.
