How to contribute:

The Information Exchange is an interactive 'space' where individuals can post information about different issues. We invite you to visit this site and familiarize yourself with the subjects already posted on the site. 

To post your article you need to do the following:

- 1st sign up as a contributor

- 2nd submit your article

The Editor of the Information Exchange will create links if necessary and make your article public.

 

Style & guidelines:

Please follow the guidelines below when preparing articles

 

- Submit a maximum of 500 words per article

- Font size and style Arial 12pt

- Left allignment for all articles.

- NO identation at the start of a paragraph

- single line spacing for body of text

- single spacing between paragraphs

- Indicate point form by a dash (‘-‘ or a number, see below) and not by numbers or bullets, etc.  example:

Acceptable:

1. Raise people’s expectations of non-verbal children by proving on DVD that they do have something to say and that they can use AAC to say it.

2. Show how important the 500 most frequently used words are by measuring what % of the kids’ utterances they re found in our 500-core-word AAC materials.

Unacceptable:

- BOLD the name(s) of site(s) and provide link addresses for websites for example: The Information Exchange http://www.isaac-online.org/ie/ 

- BOLD name(s) and provide email addresses for contact person(s) example: Mona Zaccak mona.zaccak@isaac-online.org

- Images are accepted on IE

- Images need to be submitted as jpeg files

- images should not be included in the article

- If image is part of the article, indicated with a note in brackets to the editor where in the article an image should appear.

- Images should be 50k or less.
