Main event is taken place at Helsinki, where also is the main event of the 30Th Anniversary of Bliss language in Finland.

They start at 9.00 o’clock with the first speech with the Member of Bliss Committee of ISAAC Suomi Finland ry. Then they have a music performance by pupils of the school of Ruskeasuo this school is especially for people with different special needs.

Then they have a retrospective view of ISAAC Suomi Finland as a society. After that they have retrospective view to the history of bliss language in Finland. They have two lecturers. First they have a researcher and after that a very first user of the bliss language in Finland.

The main lecture of the Helsinki event is Mrs. Britt Ambertsson from They den. She is a grand old lady of the bliss language in They den.

Mrs. Kaiser Lainonen, the Member of the Executive Committee and a professor of the University

Of Helsinki, has a review to the international affairs of ISAAC Suomi Finland.

Member of the Bliss Committee, Mrs Leena Raveikko close the day.

There is also opportunity to become acquainted with different augmentative and alternative communication methods. They have several exhibitors in our event. They have versatile collection of different kind of devices available to the customers.

All lecturers and special quests are invited to the banquet in the evening.

City of Tampere, Service Foundation for People with Intellectual Disability Office Building

Other place they have AAC event is Tampere. There they  have no seminar like in Helsinki but they  will built there a “Communication House”. There will be several exhibitors like in Helsinki and versatile collection of different kind of devices available to the customers.

Volunteers such as speech therapists and speech interpreters are available for visitors to ask about AAC.

Both events are under the theme Finally People are Listening

At the Helsinki event they have approximately 30 volunteer workers and at the Tampere event approximately 20 volunteer workers.

They  have estimate of 100 participants in Helsinki event and in Tampere event there will be 50-70 participants.
