I have been going around in several places inside and out Cairo to spread

AAC in different centres and give programs there direct with children and

their teachers and they didn’t have good results.

I travelled to Upper Egypt to Meya for three times by now and gave a course in

AAC and FORMED A TEAM of three teachers who did follow up the programs in

the centre and did all the AAC communication boards and give counselling to

parents and they are so happy with the results.

Also I travelled with one of the team members to Alexandria for one school

there and did apply the AAC programs with about 15 students and worked with

their teachers and had photos and records video

I went with another team member to Domiat for two times and the second time I made the records for the applied AAC programs with different ages and used the board for the needs and the schedules and story to say sequence of events  and few did talk and the others are suing the AAC.

I went to four centres in Cairo, two responded and two did not, that’s ok. In one of them they worked the small children room 6 - 10 and with 13 years old girls, in these centres the teachers had 15 hours AAC training last year and that is the result, applying the programs with their nonspeaking students the other centre, all are elder students from 15 - 30 years, most nonspeaking or their speech is not understood, also the programs were applied and they worked with behaviour problems and had good results for the beginning.

In two weeks I am travelling for the third time to upper Egypt to Sohag 7 hours by train for 5 days to apply more programs after the training and see what took place.

Beginning of July the centre in Domiat is planning an autistic conference and ISAAC Egypt will present one hour the result of what is applied the work of their teachers that was excellent and of course there are parents who are not convinced and others who are most they coming so they are preparing the cd to be presented of that day, they are proud of that.

Now this for the work out school and for the work in my school the team had about 50 students, most nonspeaking to go out for shopping with their shopping list in pictures or Blissymbols and had good communication there.

I am planning to do t-shirts for the team, brochures to include all the schools they worked with, but money is not available the school told me that they will get local sponsors, I am waiting for that, I travel on my own and get some money only from transportation from some of the places, the video photos, all materials I buy. I will have two or three persons from each centre for that day in my school to present their work life on TV programs and show their videos on data show with a lot of audience, maybe 500 hundred, only planning, hope they can do it and have money to sponsor the people outside Cairo to come, some need accommodation, hope all work they’ll.
