In Canada they are planning to celebrate the AAC Awareness on Thursday October 4th.  Our event will be based in elementary schools with representation in several areas of Ontario as well as British Columbia and Alberta.  They are going to develop materials that use AAC systems relating to Thanksgiving as our Canadian Thanksgiving is Oct. 8th.  These materials will include how thankful they are for the ability to communicate.  They are not seeking sponsors for this year's event.  They may incorporate a small fund raising component to our event.  I have no idea how many people will be involved, but I would like to request 20 shirts.
