Communication Matters

Journal Editors: Sally Millar, Patrick Poon

The Communication Matters Journal presents a multi-disciplinary perspective of AAC, and is published three times a year - April, August and November - by the UK Chapter of ISAAC.

The Journal contains a collection of articles written by people who use AAC, parents, and experienced AAC practitioners - teachers, therapists, engineers, researchers and others - mostly from the UK. The articles are on a variety of different topics, including case studies, clinical/educational practice, new developments in low and high tech AAC, and AAC use by children and adults.

The style of the journal is informal and easy to read, and most articles are practical. Articles written by persons who use AAC, parents and families are actively welcomed. Each issue contains 36 or 40 pages with a colour cover, A4 format.
