Since 1983, a worldwide alliance working to create opportunities for people who communicate with little or no speech
ISAAC supports and encourages the best possible communication methods for people who find communication difficult. It has groups of members in 15 countries. These groups are called Chapters. It also has members in 60 other countries. All these people have a "vision" that everyone in the world who could communicate more easily by using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), will be able to do so. For this vision to happen everywhere in the world, people who use AAC, their families, therapists, teachers, researchers, people who make equipment, and people in governments will have to work together.
