ISAAC Affiliated Organisations

ISAAC has formal affiliation agreements with organisations to exchange information.

ISAAC has formal affiliation agreements with organizations whose work is closely linked to ISAAC's mission. The affiliation provides mutual exchange of information to the members of both organizations in the partnership. The current affiliation agreements are with:

  • AAATE: Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe
    AATE stimulates the advancement of assistive technology for the benefit of people with disabilities, including elderly people.The AAATE is the interdisciplinary pan-European association devoted to all aspects of assistive technology, such as use, research, development, manufacture, supply, provision and policy. Over 250 members from all over Europe and throughout the world currently tale part in the AAATE
     
  • IASSID
    The International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual Disabilities (mental retardation and related developmental disabilities) is an international and interdisciplinary scientific non governmental organization with official relations with the World Health Organization. It promotes worldwide research and exchange of information on intellectual disabilities. The association (originally named the International Association for the Scientific Study of Mental Deficiency) was founded in 1964 and has sponsored eleven World Congresses. IASSID is the first and only world-wide group dedicated to the scientific study of intellectual disability.
     
  • TASH
    TASH is an international advocacy association promoting full inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of life. TASH has chapters in the USA and British Columbia, Canada. TASH's mission is to eliminate physical and social obstacles that prevent equity, diversity, full community participation, and quality of life.
